Danny D literally grew up in the center of Detroit Rock Cityand with the musicians thereof. And many veteran Detroit musicians add their native sound to Danny D's most recent rock and soulful CD Still Got The Boy In Me with such collaborative motor city talent as:
- Grand Funk's Mark Farner wrote for and shares a duet with Danny D.
- Rod Stewart guitarist Paul Warren adds his licks on a couple tunes.
- Bob Seger's Silver Bullet Band alumni Drew Abbott, Alto Reed, Robyn Robbins and Shaun Murphy add their respective talents.
- Kid Rock and Howling Diablos keyboardist Jimmie Bones contributes.
- Also, rapper HUSH Carlisle, blues greats Johnnie Bassett and Darryl Lee, backup singers Carly Hartwell and the "Detroit Diva" Eliza Neals, and others make contribution.
- Tino Gross of Funky D Records produced the CD, as well as played guitar, drums, percussion, harmonica and back up vocals on many of the songs, and co-wrote a couple songs with Danny D.
